My Homemade Protein packed, Smokey Chickpea & Lentil Hummus

Vegan, Wheat-free, Gluten-free, yeast-free, Egg-free, Health-y
Super Quick, Super easy, tastes Delicious! 
I love Hummus! It can be put with almost anything...Bread, Breadsticks, Crackers, Pitta Bread, Carrot Sticks, Celery Sticks.....so many Varieties!
I have had many different flavours of Hummus from Chilli and Lemon to Sundried Tomato! But i always come back to my Homemade Smokey ChickPea and Lentil. Lovely combination of flavour and Texture! Quite Smokey which i like! Im all about a chunky Hummus and flavour!
Hummus is a lovely Snack as it is Healthy and is very filling.
Enough with this descriptions, lets get on to making it shall we?! :D

Ingredients-
-1/2 a Can of Chickpeas
-1 1/2 Tablespoons of Lemon ( juice)
-1/2 a Box/can of Green Lentils ( Cooked)
-1 Clove of Garlic
-1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika 
-1 Teaspoon of Cumin
-Pinch of Sea Salt
-3 Tablespoons of Filtered Water
-2 Teaspoons of Tahini

+ a Food Blender

Lets get Started...

Step 1- Weigh out all of your Ingredients and prep your work station! 


Step 2- Wash and Drain your Lentils and Chickpeas, then place them into the Blender.

Step 2- Add in the Smoked Paprika, Lemon, Garlic, Water, Tahini, Salt, Cumin in to the Blender and Blend away! 
Blend until Smooth-ish ( It will be quite a thick consistency  this is because my recipe doesn't contain Oil)

Step 3- As soon as its blended its ready to serve!

Serve in a little bowl.
Dress with Left over Chickpeas, a sprig of Coriander and a dash of Smoked Paprika and Sea Salt! You could even drizzle some Olive Oil over the top ( i personally try not to use too much Oil in my cooking, hence why i didn't use it)

The best way to Serve Hummus is with Gluten-free BreadSticks ( Mine are from DS Gluten Free, as they kindly sent me a Pack to try and and their soooo tasty so thank you DS Gluten Free! Best Wheat & Gluten-free Breadsticks i have ever had! yummmm..
! Alternatively you could serve with Carrot sticks, Tortilla Chips,  Dairy-free Yogurt or a warm Pitta bread....you name it!

Tastes so yummy! It is super quick and easy! So effective and protein Packed! My go to snack!
