Almond & Cherry Protein Balls

Vegan, Raw, Natural Sugar, Wheat & Gluten-free

I have been loving the Nakd Bakewell bars so much, i have decided to create my own version, using only a few ingredients.
The Nakd Bars are delicious, but when bought on a regular basis, they work out expensive.
The Nakd bars count as one of your 5 a day and contain a good level of protein & nutrients!
The Nakd bars are a great alternative to processed & sugar snacks, as they contain natural ingredients with natural occurring sugars.
They are cold pressed and never baked with no added Sugars or Syrups , just pure goodness!
Bakewell is usually Cherry & Almonds together, which forms a delightful aromatic & sweet flavour!

...
Ingredients-
- 200grams of Medjool Dates (de-stoned)
-130grams of Cashew Nuts
-2 Tablespoon of Almond Extract
-50grams of Dried Cherries
-50 grams of raisins
-30grams of Toasted & Flaked Almond
-Chia Seeds (for added protein) Optional
...

Step 1- Place all of the Ingredients into a Food Processor or Blender, at high speed until the ingredients come together (making sure to scrape down the edges as they mixture tends to stick inside the blender.
This should take around 5 minutes max.
Step 2- Once your mixture smells yummy & is ready, mould into Bars or Balls and place onto a Lined Tray.
Allow to set in the Fridge for 2 hours.

These Bars (and bitesized Balls) are great in Energy & Protein, as well as tasting like an unhealthy Cake.

They are a great Snack to take on the go in your handbag,a Pre/Post gym workout snack, healthy Breakfast bar...

These Bars should be kept in a sealed container in the Fridge to munch on whenever!
