Lush inspired desserts

I love being creative in the kitchen and decorating desserts!
I was recently asked by my local Lush to make some treats for their staff Christmas party. Of course i said yes! :)
Last year i made some replicas of the Lush Christmas products, into edible, tasty & adorable desserts.
You can check them out here-
5 gold ring cookies-
Holly golightly mince pies-
Magic wand star cake-

What is Lush?

I wanted to do the same for this party as it's super fun to make them look like Lushes cute products!
I decided to go for the peeping santa's, snowie and santa's belly.
Lush is 100% cruelty-free and vegan, hence why it was such an amazing oppotunity for me to be asked to cater for them!
They were so fun to make and look really effective! They would even be lovely served up for a party, festive nibbles or even to enjoy & decorate for a cosy night in!

Strawberry peeping santa's ontop cherry, nut & chocolate brownies

My gluten-free festive cherry, chocolate & nut brownies, with strawberry & vanilla frosting decorations and chocolate orange drops.

To make the peeping santa's

-1 bar of dariy-free chocolate (I used dark chocolate with orange)
-Vegan frosting (Get my recipe here- )
-Handful of strawberries

Get my gluten-free brownie recipe here-

Melt some dairy-free chocolate, and make little drops on grease proof paper. Pop them in to the freezer to set.

Slice the strawberries in half and pipe on the base some delicious frosting. Place the tip of the strawberry on top of the frosting and decorate with the chocolate drops to look like little eyes. You could even use some cacao nibs!

Santas belly peanut butter cupsMy raw peanut butter cups, with fondant detailing and a dust of edible gold glitter & gold leaf.

To make the santa belly topping

Get my RAW peanut butter cup recipe here-

Using red fondant, cut out a circle to fit the size of the peanut butter cups (recipe above), and stick on the fondant to the top of the peanut butter cup with water.
Cut some little squares out of white fondant with a little square on top and spray gold.
Stick onto the red with water.

Snowie oreo trufflesMy quick & easy oreo truffes, decorated with dark chocolate, unsweetened desiccated coconut, edible silver glitter and vegan fondant.

To make the snowies

Get my vegan oreo truffle recipe here-

Combine 2 oreo truffles (one larger than the other) together and dip in chocolate.
Cover the truffle in a thin layer of white fondant.
Dip the base of the truffle into melted chocolate and place into desiccated coconut.

For decoration, spray the truffle with edible silver glitter and cut out a lightning bolt in red & blue fondant and roll some ball for the eyes out of the red & blue fondant.
