Vegan chocolate coffee cups recipe

Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, natural sugar

Me and my sister are the biggest coffee fan's and wanted to make some treats for us to enjoy (and now to share with you all).
I have made these scrumptious coffee cups which are super moorish and 100% vegan, yay! 


I decided to make edible chocolate cups with a filling of coffee cream and vanilla cream, to replicate a cappuccino.
Plus how instagrammable to they look? I'm obsessed! 

Coffee and chocolate is a dream pair and these delightful little cups are delicious! 
They are easy to make and would be perfect for any coffee lover, for an event or special occasion!

Preparation- 5 minutes
Freezing time- Around 1 hour
Makes- 6 cups 
Level- Easy

Ingredients for the cup
-200g of dairy-free dark chocolate

Ingredients for the coffee layer
-1 can of coconut cream (cream only)
-1 tablespoon of maple syrup
-2 tablespoons of melted chocolate
-1 & 1/2 tablespoons of espresso powder

Ingredients for the cream layer
1 can coconut cream (cream only)
-1 tablespoon of maple syrup
-1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon of espresso powder

To make the cup
Step 1- Line a cupcake tin with cupcake cases.

Step 2- Melt the chocolate.

Step 3- Add a tablespoon of chocolate into each cupcake case and using the back of a teaspoon to smooth it up the sides of the cases.
Place the cups into the freezer to set. 

To make the coffee layer
Step 1- Place the coconut cream, maple syrup, melted chocolate and coffee powder in a food processor/blender and whizz up until smooth.
Step 2- Pour or pipe into the cups 1/2 full.
Repeat for each cup then pace back into the freezer to set.

To make the cream layer
Step 1- Place the coconut cream, maple syrup, vanilla syrup and coffee powder into a food processor/blender and whizz up until smooth.
Step 2- Pour or pipe into the cups filling them to the cup and place back into the freezer to set.
You could, at this stage add a sprinkling of grated chocolate or dusting of cocoa powder.
I added on some coffee beans for decoration too.

Allow to rest at room temperature before enjoying.
