Dairy-free chocolate chip milkshake recipe

Vegan, wheat-free, gluten-free, quick & easy.

An ultra creamy vegan chocolate chip milkshake, with chunks of dairy-free chocolate and vanilla ice-cream. A delicious and very luxurious drink.

When I was young, a milkshake was mine and my sisters treat after school. Just knowing there was one waiting for us in the fridge was so exciting! Now I'm 22, I still get extremely excited by milkshakes, they're not only scrumptious but I love how versatile they are. I've been making a lot many varieties at home, from healthy protein packed milkshakes to sweeter shakes. You can't beat them!

I used my homemade bakery style chocolate chip cookies in this recipe, which gives the milkshake a tasty cookie flavour, as well as having a cookie on the side to dunk into the milkshake- Y U M!

The cookies are extremely easy to make, gluten-free and chewy, just the way a baked cookie should be.

Preparation- 10 minutes
Serves- 4
Level- Easy

...
Ingredients
-500g of dairy-free milk (I use unsweetened almond milk)
-300g of dairy-free vanilla ice cream
-1 teaspoon of vanilla bean extract
-100g of dairy-free chocolate chips
+
-Dairy-free ice cream
-Extra chocolate chips
-Melted chocolate chips
...

Step 1- Place the dairy-free milk, cookies, ice cream and vanilla extract into a blender and whizz up until smooth.

Step 2- Fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 3- Divide the milkshake between 4 glasses and serve.

I served my milkshakes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, a drizzle of melted chocolate and a vegan chocolate chip cookie.

Best enjoyed fresh, day of making.
