Strawberry Dalgona Coffee Recipe

Vegan, easy.

The trending drink just had a glow up!

Pink strawberry milk with a pink coffee whip.

This recipe was inspired by my favourite YouTuber- ‘Amazing Phil’. He did a video making a strawberry coffee and it looked incredible, so I had to make one with my own twist.

Check his video out here.

This drink is very refreshing. If you like strong coffee, this is for you!

If you don’t want the strawberry milk, you could add a tiny bit of pink food colouring into dairy-free milk to make pink milk, but I like the natural colour from the strawberries along with the flavour!

You want to use a highly pigmented food gel as you don’t want to add much of it but you want the effect!

I highly recommend this food gel.

Preparation- 10 minutes

Serves- 2

Level- Easy

Ingredients

-2 tablespoons of coffee granules

-2 tablespoons of hot water

-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar

Pink food gel (optional)

-Handful of ice

-A handful of fresh strawberries

-Dairy-free milk

Decorations

-Vegan mini eggs

-Chopped strawberries

To make the drink

Step 1- In a bowl, add in the coffee, hot water, granulated sugar and pink food gel.

Step 2- Whisk vigorously for around 5-8 minutes until thick and creamy, then set aside.

Step 3- Place the strawberries, ice and dairy-free milk in a blender and blend until smooth and combined.

Step 4- Fill a glass with ice, and pour over the strawberry milk.

Fill the glass with how much milk you like.

Step 5- Spoon the coffee cream ontop.

Serve with chopped strawberries.

As it is Easter, I topped my drink with homemade mini eggs.

Enjoy fresh and chilled!
