Is KatVonD Beauty vegan?

This blog post has been long awaited and i am so happy to finally have my hands on a KVD product! Whoop.
I have been wanting to try out Kat Von D beauty for so long, and whilst having a little shop in London, i visited Debenhams on Oxford street and saw an impressive KatVon D stand! I've never been more excited about makeup in my life :)
Are KVD beauty vegan?
"Although the FDA hasn’t established a regulation for what it means to be “vegan,” we define it as as a product that does not contain any animal products or by-products, and has not been tested on animals.
Kat Von D Beauty products marked #VeganAlert indicate that the finished product is vegan."

Just to let you guys know, Kat Von D beauty is 100% cruelty-free

As it states on their website:
''We do not test on animals, and never will'' Yay, go Kat!

I prefer to wear a powder foundation as opposed to a liquid. I have heard so many great things about this powder so i had to pick one up and try it myself.

When it comes to a powder foundation, i am always a little hesitant as i have dry skin but the 'Lock it powder' is a velvety texture which glides over skin creating a flawless finish without looking or feeling cakey. The number 42 is also the perfect shade for my fair skin and looks very natural and has a healthy glow.

Pros of the Powder foundation

-Available in 18 shades
-Medium/full coverage
-Flawless finish
-24 hours
-Smooth & silky formula
-Can be layered without looking thick & cakey

My sister picked up the 'Lock it' liquid foundation which comes in a beautiful tube which i love. She has oily/combination skin and really likes the coverage.

Pros of the Liquid foundation
-Matt finish
-Rich consistency
-Available in 32 shades
-Cruelty free
-Non-drying / cakey
-High pigmentation
-Doesn't oxidise on skin
-A little goes a very long way
-Medium to full coverage
-Weightless feeling

Whilst in Debenhams at the KVD stall, i tested out some of the lipsticks and fell in love with the shade 'Noble' which is a beautiful nude/light pink matte lipstick, i regret not picking one up but i will next time!

The lipsticks range from light nudes to black, which i don't think i could pull off but if you like black lipstick, you rock it!
The prices of KVD products are very reasonable, also for a high quality product!
They only down side is i have only known the one KVD store which is in London, so if you now of anywhere else that sells KVD, leave them in the comments :)
