The best avocado toast recipe

Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, quick & easy

Avocado toast is super simple and delicious to make.
I am the biggest avocado fan and love it on top of anything. I've been enjoying this avocado toast for lunch recently and thought I'd share my recipe with you as its so yummy and packed full of goodness.

Avocado toast has been a hype all over social media recently and I have just jumped on the bandwagon.
I've made a delicious guacamole inspired topping, including chilli flakes for an added kick, along with onion to bring out all of the delicious flavours in this toast and of course a squeeze of fresh lime juice!

This recipe is great for brunch as it's healthy and takes minutes to whip up! Highly recommend.
Preparation- 5 minutes
Cooking time- 5 minutes
Serves- 4
Level- Easy

-1 large avocado (Mashed)
-1/2 teaspoon of onion granules
-1/2 teaspoon of garlic granules 
-1/4 teaspoon of chilli flakes
-1/2 lime (Juice)

To serve (optional)
-Bruschetta/ crusty bread
-Chilli flakes
-Beetroot hummus
-Balsamic vinegar

Step 1- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees c.

Step 2- Slice the bread and place onto a baking tray.

Step 3- Spread some dairy-free margarine/butter onto the bread and pop into the preheated oven until golden brown.
This will take a few minutes.

Step 4- Slice the avocados in half, remove the stone and scoop out the centre into a bowl.

Step 5- Add in the onion & garlic granules, chilli and lime juice then mash until smooth.
You can leave chunks if you like.

Step 6- Spread the avocado paste onto the bread and top off with a sprinkling of chilli flakes.

I served my avocado toast with beetroot hummus, sundried tomatoes, green jalapenos, balsamic vinegar, a squeeze of fresh lime... delicious!!!

Best enjoyed fresh.
