The BEST overnight oats (2 ways) recipe

Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, quick & easy.

Overnight oats are perfect if you don't have time in the morning to make a healthy and filling breakfast!
They're a blend of oats, milk, sweetener and a flavour of your choice.
I made 2 flavours to show you, strawberry cheesecake and chocolate. Both 100% vegan, gluten-free and contains only natural sugars.
Overnight oats are extremely versatile, and just like a classic warm bowl of oatmeal... they're easy to make.
Oats are nutritious and rich in antioxidants, great for a morning boost.

Both of these flavours are delicious, but if you're on the fruity side, the strawberry is fresh, light and sweet whereas the chocolate is rich, bitter and creamy.
Make these the day before, wake up and go!

Preparation- Overnight
Serves- 4
Level- Easy

-300g of porridge oats
-300ml of dairy-free-milk
-2 tablespoons of maple syrup
-1 teaspoon of chia seeds (optional)
-Strawberry jam
-Strawberry powder (i use Earth Co)
-Dairy-free vanilla yoghurt
-Cacao powder

Step 1- Place the porridge oats into a large bowl and pour in the dairy-free milk, maple syrup.
Add some chia seeds (optional).

Step 2- Separate the oat mixture into 2 bowls.
In one bowl add some strawberry jam and strawberry powder.
I use natural strawberry powder for colour and flavouring.
In the second bowl, add in some cacao powder.

Step 3- Add the oat mixture into some jars and pop into the fridge overnight.
In the strawberry jar, I added in some vanilla yoghurt (optional)
  • Feel free to simply swirl in the vanilla yoghurt if you don’t have time to assemble it in layers. It will still be absolutely delicious!
I topped off the chocolate overnight oats with some whole walnuts for crunch, cacao nibs and a drizzle of coconut caramel sauce.

Best enjoyed fresh within 2 days. Keep refrigerated.
