Quick & easy dragonfruit smoothie recipe

Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, quick & easy

A perfect way to keep cool during the summer months is to enjoy cool and refreshing fruity drinks!
I made these delicious, quick & easy dragonfruit smoothies which are bursting with fruity flavour. Plus how beautiful do they look?!

Dragonfruit has fastly become one of my favourite fruits. Its vibrant pink skin along with the pretty white and black fruit is just gorgeous! Lovely to decorate desserts with or to add into drinks etc.
If you've never tried dragonfruit before, it tastes just like kiwi. It's very juicy and refreshing and not too sweet.
I get my dragonfruit from WholeFoods market!

I used my brand new Smeg blender which is just stunning! It blends like a dream and is easy to use as well as making the drinks silky smooth. 

Preparation- Overnight (to freeze the berries)
Level- Easy

-300ml of dairy-free milk (I use almond milk)
-20g of frozen strawberries
-1 frozen dragonfruit
-Handful of ice
-1 can of coconut cream (cream only)
-Dairy-free vanilla ice cream

Step 1- Add the almond milk, strawberries, dragonfruit, coconut cream and ice into a blender and whizz together until smooth.

Step 2- Pour into your chosen glasses and swirl in some dairy-free ice cream! 

Top off with a scoop of dairy-free ice cream, chopped dragonfruit, a mint leaf and pop in some paper straws!

Best enjoyed day of making.
