Strawberry & vanilla 'nice' cream recipe

Vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, quick & easy.

Who's been experiencing this year's crazy heatwave?
It's been incredibly hot here in the UK and what better way to keep cool than with some delicious homemade nice cream.

I made 2 flavours of nice cream:
This dessert is quick & easy to make, healthy and only requires a few 'easy to find' ingredients to make it. PS- all of the fun is in the decorating.
I decorated the strawberry flavour with fresh strawberries, unsweetened desiccated coconut.
I decorated the vanilla with some white berries, mint leaves and a vegan ice cream sandwich (because..why not)- haha! 
(These flowers are just for decoration purposes only, not to eat).

Preparation- Overnight
Makes- serves 4
Level- Easy

-300g of frozen bananas
-1 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
-50ml of almond milk (I use unsweetened)
-Strawberry powder (optional)

Step 1- In a blender/food processor, add in the frozen bananas, vanilla and almond milk.

Step 2- To make the strawberry flavour, add in the strawberry powder and whizz up until combined.

Step 3- Pour or pipe into a glass/bowl and serve.
You could even sprinkle over some chia seeds or nuts for added protein and texture.

Best served fresh & store in the freezer like you would ice cream.
