Healthy Banana Oat Cookies

Vegan, Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Yeast-free, Guilt-free
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day,so why not enjoy it with some yummy quick & easy Banana Oat cookies!
These are the perfect morning snack as they contain slow releasing nutrients which help to enhance brain function and they contain only natural occurring sugars!

Benefits of Bananas
-Great source of Potassium, which is great for the body overall
-Helps to reduce & regulate Blood pressure
-Slow releasing energy
-Good source of Calcium
-They contain a high source of Anti-oxidents, Vitamins and Minerals
-Promotes the growth of healthy bones
-Enhances brain function
-They're high in Fibre, which helps aid Digestion

Benefits of Almonds
-High in Protein which is great for healthy growth of Hair, Skin & Nails...
-Helps to reduce Blood pressure
-Helps prevent Cancer & Diabetes
-Helps to lower Blood sugar levels
-Helps Bowel movement, due to the Fibre content
-High in Vitamin E, which is a vital Anti-oxident which is important for the body
-Contains healthy fats
-Helps to boost energy
-Great for the Heart

-4 & 1/2 ripe Bananas
-1/4 cup of Almonds
-1 Teaspoon of Chia Seeds 
-2 & 1/2 cups of Gluten-free Oats
-1/4 Teaspoon of Nutmeg (optional)

Step 1- In a large mixing bowl, mash up the Bananas until creamy & smooth.
Step 2- Add in the Oats, Chia, Almonds and Nutmeg. 
Mix with a wooden spoon until fully combined.
 Step 3- Cover a baking tray with grease proof paper.

Step 4- Using a spoon, dollop the cookies onto they tray about 4 inches apart.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
Step 5- Once the cookies are full baked, place them onto a cooling rack.

Tuck in!

Place the cookies (once cool) into a sealed container/Tupperware to keep fresh and ready for breakfast!
